T1 claimed Game 3 to begin their comeback chase. Once they created an environment where their core damage dealer, Zeri, could dish out damage, T1 cleanly won consecutive teamfights.
Game 3 got off to a fantastic start for Hanwha Life Esports when 'Kanavi' on Lee Sin picked off 'Faker''s Akali at Level 1 right at the start. Then in the mid lane, 'Zeka''s Twisted Fate stunned Akali with a Gold Card, allowing Lee Sin to land Sonic Wave and eliminate Akali once again. Meanwhile in the bottom lane, Hanwha Life, having drafted Ashe and Seraphine, was applying pressure on T1.
Hanwha Life swapped their bottom lane to top at the 7:30 mark, during which T1 took the first Dragon. When 'Kanavi''s Lee Sin was taking Void Grubs, T1's Vi targeted mid lane and cleanly killed Twisted Fate. As both teams set up traps in mid, T1 quickly collapsed with Zeri and Yuumi to score a double kill, securing a massive advantage. They also caught Ashe alone in the bottom lane, completely swinging the momentum in their favor.
However, Hanwha Life remained confident in teamfights. With combo plays involving Lee Sin and Twisted Fate in mid, they eliminated T1's Vi, Zeri, and Yuumi before securing Dragon. Hanwha Life then aggressively started Rift Herald, forcing T1 to fall back slightly as all five Hanwha Life players approached. When another teamfight broke out, T1 won it through fluid movement, turning the gold lead back in their favor. A chaotic 3-for-3 trade unfolded, but 'Faker''s Akali, who had a rough start, recovered completely to 5/2/3. Above all, 'Doran''s K'Sante scaled exceptionally well, pulling two levels ahead of 'Zeus''s Olaf to serve as a reliable front-line shield.
Hanwha Life, which had been in a tough spot, saw 'Gumayusi''s Ashe completely take control of the battle layout in mid with fantastic kiting, overpowering T1 and securing Baron. However, T1 weathered the Baron power play well by picking off Lee Sin and Twisted Fate when Hanwha Life split into side lanes. As the next Dragon spawned, both teams set up for another fight. Hanwha Life quickly bursted down T1's primary damage dealer Zeri, winning the teamfight and destroying the bottom inhibitor turret.
As long as Zeri was allowed to deal damage, T1's firepower was immense. As if to prove it, despite the gold deficit widening even further than before, T1 decisively won the next teamfight behind Zeri's performance and secured Baron. Winning the following teamfight as well, T1 pushed straight through to destroy Hanwha Life's Nexus, securing their first victory of the series after back-to-back losses.
