Smilegate officially launched its new MMORPG, Eclipse: The Awakening (developed by Npixel, hereinafter Eclipse), on PC and mobile platforms at 12:00 PM on the 10th and kicked off a large-scale commemorative event.
The newly introduced Eclipse is designed to retain the core gameplay fun of MMORPGs while allowing players to enjoy it without burden according to their preferred playstyle and pace. Supporting multi-platform play, the PC version can be downloaded from the official website, while the mobile version is available via Google Play and the Apple App Store. All players who completed pre-registration can receive generous pre-registration and milestone rewards in their in-game mailbox, including a Rare-grade 'Transcendence Summon Ticket' and 'Weapon Appearance Selection Ticket'.
To mark the official launch, Smilegate is hosting a total of six in-game events. Players can earn a variety of rewards, including Heroic-grade weapons, simply by completing missions. First, the "PD Lee's Surprise Gift" event, running until the 31st of next month, guarantees Heroic-grade 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearance' items to players who acquire 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearance' 100 times each through the Sanctuary or synthesis. In addition, the eight-week "Path of the Hero" event awards Heroic-grade weapons, 'Transcendence', 'Weapon Appearance', armor, and more in stages based on the number of completed objectives, while the ongoing "Dodor's Daily Attendance Rewards" provides a 'Rare Equipment Blueprint' as the top reward for accumulated log-ins.
Furthermore, the "7-Day Special Launch Reward" event, running until the 23rd, awards a 'Guaranteed Rare Transcendence Ticket' to players who log in for seven days. "Special Growth Support for Saviors," which grants growth resources for completing equipment enhancement and item collection tasks, and "PC Cafe Playtime Benefits," which grant perks based on accumulated play time in PC cafes, are also active. Payment benefits are equally abundant. Google Play users paying through carrier billing receive a billing discount of 3,000 won per carrier along with cumulative discounts; this promotion runs until the 27th for SKT and LG U+, and until the 22nd for KT. Toss Pay customers can also enjoy first-payment cashback and Toss Point accumulation benefits when spending above a certain threshold until the 16th.
Cross-promotional events are also taking place offline. Smilegate has partnered with Daily Beer to offer standalone "Eclipse Beer" and an "Eclipse Set" at direct-managed branches and designated franchise locations nationwide through the 11th of next month. Purchasers of the set menu will receive a "Special In-Game Coupon," and players who post proof of coupon activation on the Stove community will be entered into a raffle to win branded merchandise.
