USERJOY announced on the 10th that fantasy strategy RPG 'The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake' has officially launched on Steam.
'The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake' is a reimagining of 'The Legend of Fancy Realm', a classic SRPG released in 1998, with modern graphics and systems. While inheriting the original's fantasy world, tactical combat, characters, and narrative, it expands upon character backstories and content.
The official release also includes the classic 1998 original version. Players can launch and play the original directly within the game, and post-launch free updates will offer additional DLC and new storylines not covered in the original game.
The setting is the continent of Panosong, known as the "continent blessed by the gods." Amidst the conflict between seven major factions with distinct races, cultures, and histories, players experience a story entangled in war and conspiracy centered around the protagonist, Leonard, and his companions.
In combat, players can utilize character stats, skill combinations, positioning, terrain, squad composition, and class characteristics. Original elements such as class changes, hidden treasures, special merchants, sub-quests, and chain kills are preserved, while character illustrations, battlefield backgrounds, combat UI, and visual effects have been newly redesigned.
Along with these, the game offers multiple endings, a mini card game, and special costumes. Steam Workshop support for user-generated content is also under development, with specific features and creation scope to be revealed according to the development schedule. User-creation events utilizing stage ideas and battlefield designs will also be held sequentially in the future.

'The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake' supports five languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
