Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 "A Painted Symphony", the official concert dedicated to the game's original soundtrack, will travel to the United States for the first time in 2027 for four performances in New York and Los Angeles.
The production is led by composer Lorien Testard, vocalist Alice Duport-Percier and conductor Daniel Sicard. Sicard will conduct the Wordless Music Orchestra for both New York shows at Radio City Music Hall on September 29th and 30th 2027, before the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra takes over for two nights at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 6th and 7th 2027.
According to a release, tickets go on general sale on September 15th at 11am EDT / 8am PDT through the tour's official A Painted Symphony website, following the tour announcement on September 8th.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based role-playing game developed by French studio Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive. It was named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025, where Testard's score also won Best Score and Music. According to the release, the game is the most awarded title in the ceremony's history.
A Painted Symphony expands beyond France
The American shows follow an initial run of sold-out concerts in France and the rest of Europe. Orchestre Curieux will perform alongside Testard and Duport-Percier at every French and European date, with the two US cities instead using local ensembles.
The 2027 run takes in 11 dates across France, beginning at Galaxie in Amnéville on January 28th 2027 and closing at the Zénith in Nantes on May 26th 2027. Nine further shows are scheduled elsewhere in Europe, including The O2 in London on February 28th, Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Tauron Arena in Kraków, Uber Arena in Berlin, Avicii Arena in Stockholm and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
According to the release, the tour will also feature new scenography, and reworks the soundtrack through symphonic arrangements and solo vocal performances rather than reproducing the in-game versions.
Game soundtracks have become a steady fixture of the live music circuit over the past decade, with long-running productions such as Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses touring arenas worldwide. A Painted Symphony arrives less than two years after the game's April 2025 release, a faster turnaround than most.
