Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced the main event schedule and online live streaming channel details for its global gaming convention, BlizzCon 2026.
BlizzCon 2026 will take place over two days on September 12 and 13 (PDT) at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Starting with the opening ceremony, the two-day event will feature major game panel sessions, various programs, esports tournaments, and 'Community Night,' which showcases the creative passion of the community. For domestic fans unable to attend the event in person, free online live streaming of major programs will be provided. The main broadcasts will be available with Korean commentary on Blizzard's official YouTube channel, as well as live on Blizzard's official channels on domestic streaming platforms SOOP and CHZZK. Schedules and broadcast channels may vary by program, and Korean commentary for the 'Overwatch World Cup' will be broadcast on the respective Overwatch and Overwatch Esports channels on SOOP and CHZZK.
'Drops' benefits will also be available for online viewers. By watching broadcasts with Drops enabled on YouTube and Twitch, viewers can earn in-game items for major games such as World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Hearthstone, and Overwatch. Rewards will also be distributed for StarCraft by watching videos during the promotional period. Specific criteria, such as account linking and required watch time, vary depending on the platform and game.
A variety of esports events will unfold both on-site and online. These will include the 'Overwatch World Cup,' World of Warcraft's 'Mythic Dungeon International' (MDI) and 'Arena World Championship' (AWC), Hearthstone's 'Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship,' and the 'Blizzard Classic Cup.'
In addition, 'Digital Bundles' will be available for purchase for fans unable to attend in person. These products include various in-game items for major titles such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal, and Hearthstone, while Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft II players will also receive limited-time free rewards.
