On the 28th, the first day of the '2026 LoL KeSPA Cup' Final Stage was held online. Kiwoom DRX defeated kt Rolster 2-0, eliminating KT from the tournament. In the match between the third-place teams from each group, DN Supers defeated Hanjin Brion, setting up a match between Hanjin Brion and Kiwoom DRX.

The first match of the day featured a do-or-die elimination game between Group Stage fourth-place finishers Kiwoom DRX and kt Rolster. The first set was defined by skirmishes; while kt Rolster led in kill score, DRX held a slight edge in macro and gold. kt Rolster repeatedly used teamfight wins to flip the gold lead, but as the game progressed, 'Willer's' Skarner held the frontline effectively, allowing DRX to secure the first set.

In the second set, KT secured two early kills, but a lack of coordination during a Voidgrub fight allowed DRX to even the score. From that point on, DRX snowballed their lead, destroying KT's Nexus in 26 minutes to win the series 2-0. With this result, KT was eliminated, and DRX survived.

In the following match between Group Stage third-place finishers DN Supers and Hanjin Brion, DN Supers completed a 2-1 comeback victory.

Hanjin Brion's 'Gideon' dominated early on with Xin Zhao, securing multiple kills and a significant lead in the top lane. While Hanjin Brion focused more on gold than early Dragons, DN Supers managed to secure two Dragon stacks.

However, Hanjin Brion refused to concede further Dragons, winning a major teamfight and securing Baron to take the first set. DN Supers took the second set; 'Clozer's' Taliyah racked up several kills, and with DN Supers controlling the top side of the map, they built up their Dragon stacks. Although Hanjin Brion kept pace in gold, DN Supers won the decisive teamfights to tie the series 1-1.

In the final set, DN Supers gradually pulled ahead in macro and widened the gap with a victory in a mid teamfight. They dominated the objective game, securing both Dragons and Baron, and eventually destroyed Hanjin Brion's Nexus to win the series 2-1.

Meanwhile, the matches between the first and second-place teams from the Group Stage—Gen.G vs. Hanwha Life and Nongshim vs. T1—are scheduled for August 3.
