Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-gyu) announced on the 23rd that it has launched the official global teaser site for its upcoming title in development, 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi' (developer Netmarble Nexus).
On the global teaser site, visitors can check out the latest PV video and various social media channels. In particular, developer letters on the YouTube channel share the production process and behind-the-scenes development stories. In the recently released second episode, Producer Kim Kyung-ryul introduced "originality connected to the original work." Additionally, key information and the latest news will be sequentially released through the official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Meanwhile, Netmarble will showcase 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi' at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo from September 17 to 21. Setting up a booth in Hall 2, A01, Netmarble will host the first playable demo of 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi' and sequentially release event program details through a dedicated Tokyo Game Show page.
The original 'Shangri-La Frontier' IP is based on the web novel of the same name, which has surpassed 1 billion cumulative views. It tells the adventure story of a high school protagonist who usually seeks out and plays unpopular games, as he dives into 'Shangri-La Frontier,' considered the ultimate game.
Currently under development at Netmarble Nexus, 'Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi' faithfully reflects the original IP's universe of exploring the in-game world. Its core content focuses on meeting various companions and NPCs while defeating the unique and powerful monsters from the original work, and is being developed with a two-character tag battle format designed for easy one-handed play, allowing players to experience diverse strategies.
