The lineup of teams competing in the '2026 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI),' which kicks off on the 28th at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) Exhibition Center II in Daejeon, is gradually taking shape. With seven of the 11 spots now filled, the full roster of participating teams is expected to be finalized in three days.

The LEC, LCP, and CBLoL have already confirmed their representatives for the 2026 MSI. From the LCP, the top two teams in championship points, Team Secret Wales (TSW) and Reverb Deep Cross Gaming (DCG), will head to the tournament. TSW, having won the LCP Split 2 finals, advances directly to the main stage as the 1st seed, while DCG will begin in the Play-In stage.

In the CBLoL, FURIA secured their MSI ticket by winning Split 1. The LEC seeds went to European powerhouse G2 Esports and rising contender Karmine Corp, both of whom reached the 2026 LEC Spring finals. G2 Esports, the tournament winner, takes the 1st seed, while runner-up Karmine Corp takes the 2nd seed.

The final representatives for the LCK, LPL, and LCS will be determined by this weekend's match results. In the LPL, Top Esports has secured their spot, as has Lion in the LCS, by reaching their respective finals. Depending on the results of the lower bracket finals, either Team WE or Bilibili Gaming (BLG) from the LPL, and either C9 or Team Liquid Alienware (TLA) from the LCS, will claim the remaining spots. The winner of each respective final will then secure the 1st seed.

The LCK is the only league that has yet to determine any of its MSI representatives. Because the 'Road to MSI' tournament, which distributes the seeds, has only completed two rounds, the teams remain undecided. The winner of the match between regular season leader Hanwha Life Esports and T1 on the 12nd will secure the 1st seed, while the 2nd seed will be decided in the 'Road to MSI' final on the 14th.
