Webzen (CEO Kim Tae-young) announced that it will officially launch the indie game 'MEMOLITH: Forsaken by Light' (hereinafter 'Memolith') on April 28.

'Memories' is a turn-based strategy RPG indie game developed by the Korean game developer Black Anchor (CEO Jeong Geuk-min) and published by Webzen.

The game was first released in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store in October 2023 under the previous title 'Remore,' and has undergone over two years of refinement to improve its gameplay.

The development team actively incorporated feedback from early players to overhaul the game, including its world-building, combat, and progression systems. Following the name change to 'Memolith' in February 2026, the team began final preparations for the official launch.

'Memolith' focuses on the core appeal of strategy RPGs, emphasizing meticulous tactics. Set in a medieval fantasy world rendered in unique pixel art, players embark on an expedition to restore the 'Memolith,' which has lost its mysterious light.

Players can enjoy the thrill of survival and exploration by employing various tactics within a set of limited rules. They can build their own expedition team by combining diverse skills and weapons to explore over 80 different regions.

The official launch version features a significantly expanded main quest compared to the Early Access version, along with four new characters, each with distinct tactical traits. To cater to global fans of the strategy RPG genre, the game will also support eight languages, including English, Chinese, and French.
