Smilegate announced on Thursday, the 9th, that 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' (hereinafter 'Chaos Zero Nightmare'), a dark fantasy roguelike RPG developed by Super Creative and serviced by Smilegate, has launched a pre-season update featuring the new combatant 'Diana' and new content, 'All-Out War.'

Diana is a 'Passion' attribute 'Hunter' class combatant specialized in accumulating damage by relentlessly pressuring enemies. Players can discard cards to activate 'Resonance' and 'Rest' effects; Resonance deals additional damage to enemies whenever a card is discarded, while Rest allows players to trigger other Rest cards when a card with the Rest keyword is discarded. The new partner 'Sophia,' added alongside Diana, provides an effect where the assigned combatant performs an additional attack when cards with specific keywords are discarded.

The new 'All-Out War' content has also been added. All-Out War allows players to earn rewards by re-challenging boss monsters previously encountered in the Great Rift. The mode features three different bosses, and players can form three separate teams—one for each boss—to participate.

During this pre-season, a preview will be available for the next Galactic Disaster season, 'Season 3: Songs Echoing in the Galaxy,' allowing players to experience the Season Chaos in advance and acquire save data. Additionally, the update includes overall improvements to the partner system, combatant perk lobbies, and new Unigram stories.

Various events are also being held to celebrate the pre-season and the new combatant update. First, 'Operation Fire Break,' running until the 29th, allows players to earn rewards by playing Chaos stages. Players can consume their combatants' save data to activate 'Phase Projection' effects that aid in battle, and earn rewards including Crystals and various growth materials.

'Love at the Wing's Tip' is a commemorative event for the new combatant Diana, where players can solve cases with her to earn limited-time achievements and rewards. Furthermore, a special landing page has opened for the 'Half Anniversary' pre-event, where players can earn rewards based on their Ether consumption.
