On November 22, former JD Gaming bot laner Lee "LokeN" Dong-wook announced that he will take a break from competitive play for the 2022 season. LokeN parted ways with JD Gaming and is currently a free agent.

The reason he chose to take a rest was due to his health and well-being. LokeN said, "My health has always been in a bad condition. I felt that I pushed myself to the limit this time and had to take a little bit of rest. It's a shame, but I want to come back in a better shape in future."

LokeN has played in LPL as a bot laner for a long time. After promoting ESC Ever to LCK, he chose to head to LPL. He played with JDG for the most of his LPL career. He transferred to Top Esports once, but came back to JDG and won the LPL 2020 Spring split trophy. LokeN performed great in 2020, making it to the finals of the Summer split and qualifying to Worlds, but did not qualify to Worlds this year.
