G2 Esports beats Fnatic 3-0, secures their eight LEC title

King Caps, deserving of his crown.

G2 Esports have become the champions of the 2020 League of Legends European Championship, displaying a fierce series against the usual rivals, Fnatic.

With a 3-0 sweep, the Old New Kings have delivered nothing short of a fantastic series. Both teams displayed a visible hunger to untie the 7-7 Championship title, with Fnatic falling just short in the lengthy, bloody matches.

Just earlier today, G2 Esports’ Mid Laner Rasmus "Caps" Borregaard was awarded the title of MVP of the split, asserting his dominance as one of Europe’s best players. Both finalist teams will be headed to Shanghai, China, in the upcoming week to represent Europe in the 2020 League of Legends World Championship.
