NC will conduct a second test for its new time survival shooter, Time Takers, in November. Based on user feedback gathered from the September test, the company is improving combat, controls, and the matchmaking system to evaluate the game with players once again.
NC announced on October 7 that it will host a Steam Playtest for Time Takers on the global gaming platform Steam from November 13 at 8:00 a.m. to November 16 at 8:00 a.m. The test will last for a total of three days, and players wishing to participate can apply through the Time Takers store page on Steam.
Time Takers is a time survival shooter currently in development by Mistil Games. Ahead of this test, NC released a new video introducing key improvements that reflect user feedback from the September test.
In the November test, combat balance will be adjusted and character individuality will be enhanced. Movement controls, combat feedback, and visibility will also be improved, and the matchmaking system is being overhauled to consider player skill and party composition. NC plans to service Time Takers as a free-to-play title in the future.
Notably, in the September test, metrics related to playtime and replayability showed an overall increase compared to the CBT conducted in March of this year. However, specific growth figures were not disclosed.
An NC representative stated, "In the September test, players' playtime and replayability metrics increased overall compared to the March CBT. We are working hard to enhance the game's degree of polish by analyzing the data and feedback obtained from the test." The representative added, "We will showcase a further evolved version of Time Takers in the November test and will continue to carefully examine player feedback to actively reflect it in the game."
Detailed information regarding the November Playtest for Time Takers can be found on the official website and Steam page.
