A new ATS hunting ground for players in levels 40–50, Shadow Temple, has been released. Shadow Temple is an ATS hunting ground that can be accessed for 1 hour a day, and only characters from Level 40 to 59 can remain inside. If you reach Level 60 or drop to Level 39 or below while hunting, you will immediately be kicked out of the ATS zone.
The entry method is the same as the existing Land of the Abandoned. You can enter through the Distortion of Space in the Oren region. Since dungeon usage time is calculated separately from Land of the Abandoned, a key advantage is that you can secure an extra hour per day while maintaining your existing hunting time.
Hunting Ground Layout and Item Drops Floor 1: 42–44 · Floor 2: 45–47, Drops Only Energy of Fiend
Shadow Temple is divided into Floor 1 and Floor 2, with different monster levels appearing on each floor. Monsters are Level 42–44 on Floor 1 and Level 45–47 on Floor 2, so you can select a floor that matches your character's level and stats.
Item drops are simple. No monster drops any item other than Energy of Fiend. Selling Energy of Fiend at the Oren General Store yields 50,000 Adena each.
| Category | Monster Level | Dropped Items | Merchant & Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Floor 1 | 42~44 | Energy of Fiend | Oren General Store 50,000 Adena each |
| Floor 2 | 45~47 | Energy of Fiend | Oren General Store 50,000 Adena each |
· Only characters Level 40–59 can enter
· Forced exit from ATS zone upon reaching Level 60 while hunting
· Forced exit even if level drops to Level 39 or below
· Recommended to use silver/orichalcum weapons as all monsters are Undead

EXP Efficiency Comparison Test Results of 30-Minute Hunting Based on a Level 41 Knight
To test how efficient Shadow Temple actually is, we hunted for 30 minutes each on the same character in Land of the Abandoned (Normal), Land of the Abandoned (Abyss), and Shadow Temple Floor 1 to compare EXP gained and potion consumption.
· Lv. 41 Knight, AC -69, MR 21%
· Weapon: +6 Mail Breaker
· Armor Details: +5 Clear Earth Dragon Scale Armor, Guardian Accessories
· Buffs: 2nd Stage Acceleration, Sharna, Legacy of Aden/Insolence, Growth Cheer, Werewolf Magic Doll, Enchant Mighty, Enchant Weapon
| Hunting Ground | EXP (30 min) | Potion Consumption (30 min) | EXP Comparison (vs. Normal) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Land of the Abandoned (Normal) | 0.8159% | 61 | 100% |
| Land of the Abandoned (Abyss) | 0.7426% | 157 | Approx. 91% |
| Shadow Temple Floor 1 | 1.0104% | 395 | Approx. 124% |
First, Land of the Abandoned (Abyss) turned out to be less efficient than Normal, which appears to be the result of a combination of factors. The test character was low-level with specs that were not high enough for Abyss, and Abyss inherently had far more players than Normal. In particular, high-level players who could not enter Normal crowded into Abyss, dragging down hunting efficiency even further by comparison.
Shadow Temple demonstrated clear advantages. Because its daily usage limit is short at 1 hour per day, few players stay inside the dungeon continuously, leading to higher monster density and the best EXP efficiency. However, because the monsters are strong and numerous, 395 potions were consumed in just 30 minutes—more than six times the amount compared to Land of the Abandoned (Normal).
Efficient Usage Routine Combinations Depending on ATS Recharge and Character Stats
Usage time for Shadow Temple is calculated separately from Land of the Abandoned. Therefore, running both hunting grounds together is recommended as a baseline. Depending on whether you can secure Dwarven Cogwheels and your character's stats, we recommend setting up your routine as follows:
Additional Entries with Time Fragments Buy up to 3 per day, or exchange with Clear Crystals
Like Land of the Abandoned, you can use Time Fragments for additional entries into Shadow Temple. The Shadow Temple-exclusive fragment, Time Fragment: Shadow Temple, can be purchased with Adena from Potion Merchant Verita in Giran or with Feathers from the PC Cafe Merchant, with a daily purchase limit of up to 3.
You can also exchange Clear Crystals obtained from purchasing Cash Shop items. Exchanges can be made via Emai at Giran Town Square; unlike Dwarven Cogwheels or Time Fragment: Land of the Abandoned which require 2 Crystals, the Shadow Temple Fragment requires 3 Crystals.
| Source | Location | Required Currency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verita | Giran Potion Shop | 82,500 Adena (10% Tax Rate) | Max 3 per day |
| PC Cafe Merchant | Talking Island, Giran | 22 Feathers | Max 3 per day |
| Emai | Giran Town Square | 3 Clear Crystals | Cogwheels / Land of the Abandoned Fragments require 2 Crystals |

Shadow Temple, a new ATS hunting ground accessible for 1 hour a day, is a top-tier hunting ground for EXP efficiency for players in levels 40–50. Equip silver or orichalcum weapons, stock up on plenty of potions, and run it alongside Land of the Abandoned.
