On October 7, Pearl Abyss revamped the character level and EXP acquisition system in Black Desert. The update provides additional Extra AP and Monster Damage Reduction based on character level up to level 75, while also improving the UI to display detailed numerical EXP information for each monster zone.
This revamp reflects details unveiled during the "Heidel Ball" held in California, USA, last July. Adventurers who grow up to level 75 can gain additional Extra AP and Monster Damage Reduction based on their level, separate from their existing displayed stats. EXP gain rates for each level range have also been adjusted. The Monster Zone Information UI has been revamped so that players can directly view numerical EXP values provided by monsters in each zone.
Pearl Abyss is running a "Dream Horse Acquisition Event" until November 4. During the event period, players who accept and complete weekly quests from NPC Merindora in Velia can receive items such as "Horse Emblem: Tier 8 Golden Horse," "Mount Skill Change Coupon," "[Event] Dream Horse Selection Box," and "Mythical Censer". Adventurers who complete Challenge tasks can obtain "[Event] Trace of Dreams". Heating this item with a "Mythical Feather" allows players to craft a "Mythical Censer".
A donation event involving Black Desert adventurers is also taking place from October 7 to October 21. Adventurers can participate by purchasing an "[Event] Donation Angel Teddy Bear" from General Goods Vendor NPC Lara in Heidel and handing it over to her.
After the event ends, Pearl Abyss plans to deliver medical support funds to children with incurable diseases in need through Make-A-Wish Korea.
