Ubisoft's 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands''is back with a massive free update, 'Last Rites'.

This is the first major update in about seven years since 2019, featuring new story missions, next-gen console support, and various quality-of-life improvements. It also includes the popular 'Predator' content, making for a truly packed update.

The core of this update is the new story mission, 'Last Rites'. Players will track a new enemy, 'La Llorona', who leads a fanatical group called 'Los Penitentes' through the swamps and jungles of Bolivia. With a faction driven by religious fanaticism—distinct from the main game's cartel—this adds new regions, enemies, and missions.

Technical improvements have also been significant with next-gen console support. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S now support up to 4K at 60FPS, and the PS5 version includes DualSense features. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers provide a much more tactile experience.

Additionally, a large number of customization items have been added, and some previously limited-time content has been restored, creating an environment that both existing and new or returning users can enjoy.

However, since it has been nine years since its release, it's hard to recommend returning based on this update alone. Game Freak's new action RPG 'Beast of Reincarnation'was officially released on the 4th. 'Beast of Reincarnation' drew global attention from the moment it was first revealed. Its visuals and flashy action, which were hard to believe came from Game Freak, made people look at the developer in a new light. Expectations grew with every piece of information released.

Although 'Beast of Reincarnation' officially launched on the 4th, it has unfortunately failed to meet expectations.
