Poncle's hit title 'Vampire Survivors,' which became a global phenomenon, is returning to players with a massive new DLC.

Poncle founder Luca Galante appeared at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase on the 7th to announce 'Legacy of the Moonspell,' the new DLC for Vampire Survivors. The trailer showcased four new characters, alternating between classic animation-style cutscenes and actual gameplay footage.

The gameplay reveal focused on scenes where each new character uses their unique traits to wipe out screen-filling hordes of enemies in one go. With flaming meteor showers, massive sweeping axe attacks, and lightning and magic projectiles flying in every direction, the game delivers the signature overwhelming scale and thrilling satisfaction of total annihilation that fans love, now with upgraded visuals.

Meanwhile, before introducing the DLC, Luca Galante touched on future plans for the Vampire Survivors IP. He stated that in addition to 'Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania' (a new genre experiment released in collaboration with Nosebleed Interactive last April), various other spin-offs are in the works. He added that these new projects range from titles that amplify the core fun of Vampire Survivors to those exploring entirely different genres, and that discussions regarding collaborations with other development teams are currently underway.

Featuring 10 new characters, 16 new weapons, and a variety of other additions, the new 'Vampire Survivors' DLC, 'Legacy of the Moonspell,' is scheduled for release this summer on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
