'Viper' Park Do-hyeon, currently competing for BLG in the LPL (China), has expressed a strong desire to represent South Korea in League of Legends at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Park is a veteran AD carry with a decorated career, having won the World Championship and two First Stand titles while competing across both the LCK and LPL.

In an interview, 'Viper' emphasized the weight of the Asian Games. "Every tournament has its own special meaning, but I believe the Asian Games are the greatest honor a player can experience, as it is a stage where you represent your country," he stated.
Viper added that his mindset is particularly focused this time, having missed out on being selected for the previous Hangzhou Asian Games. "It was disappointing not to be chosen for the last Asian Games, but I knew I had shortcomings. I’ve worked tirelessly to address those gaps, and that experience has been a huge source of motivation for me this time around. My current form is also very good," he said.
Having returned to BLG this year to secure both a Split 1 title and a First Stand victory, 'Viper' expressed strong confidence in his performance. "My transition back to the LPL has been smooth. I am satisfied with my individual form in the ongoing Split 2, and I am pushing forward with the goal of reaching the MSI and winning the playoffs," he shared.
He specifically highlighted his 'wealth of experience' from competing in both the LCK and LPL as his greatest strength. "Having experienced both leagues, I have the know-how and the right approach when facing international teams and players. My biggest advantage is being able to respond flexibly to variable situations, thanks to the data I’ve accumulated while playing against teams with such diverse styles," Viper explained.
Finally, he left a heartfelt message for domestic fans and the selection committee. "Since I am currently playing in the LPL, an overseas league, I might receive relatively less attention, but I believe I have sufficiently proven my skills through my First Stand and league victories," he emphasized.
He concluded the interview by sharing his aspirations: "I have competed in countless tournaments, but the Asian Games is a moment I have always dreamed of. I want to show my best to the fans who support me, and my only goal is to keep working hard and deliver many great performances for them."
