On an engaging evening in Los Angeles, NEOWIZ hosted a preview event—inviting journalists, influencers, and moderators from the Lies of P Discord community—for their latest game expansion, "Lies of P: Overture." Held in a vintage mansion evocative of the late-19th-century Belle Époque, the gathering transported attendees into the haunting yet alluring world of the acclaimed souls-like action RPG Lies of P.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was immersive and detailed. One NEOWIZ executive even dressed up as Geppetto, one of the most important characters from the game, adding a playful authenticity to the occasion.

INVEN attended the event, which began with guests seated in a beautifully decorated room. A live performance of the game's soundtrack set the mood. At the front of the stage, a lifelike marionette version of Pinocchio (P) came to life, captivating the audience with smooth, precise movements—even jumping up into some guests' laps!

After the opening performance, guests enjoyed a happy hour featuring themed food and drinks inspired by Lies of P. Charcuterie boards and creative cocktails were available, along with fish tacos—a nod to Krat's origins as a fishing village. The marionettist continued entertaining guests by making P dance and pose for photos, enhancing the lively atmosphere.

A notable highlight was a recreated version of the game's Trinity Room. With careful lighting and accurate design, the room allowed attendees to experience a real-life glimpse of the game's environment.

The event reached its peak during a live performance featuring DragonForce guitarist Herman Li and American Idol finalist Elliott Yamin. Their energetic performance brought one of the game's songs to life, exciting the audience. Game director Jiwon Choi was seen enjoying the music and pumping his fist, alongside the P marionette, who danced on stage with the musicians. 

"Lies of P: Overture" acts as a prequel, transporting players back to Krat before its downfall, guided by a legendary figure known as the Stalker. As Geppetto's puppet, players explore hidden backstories and face significant battles, where every choice influences the storyline deeply.

NEOWIZ successfully combined immersive storytelling with tangible experiences at the event, raising expectations for the game's release. Attendees left with strong impressions, eagerly anticipating exploring the expanded universe of Lies of P.
