NC introduced upcoming updates during a live broadcast on Sunday, June 7. The event was held at an internet cafe in Gangnam District with around 200 users in attendance. Special guests included NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and NC CEO Kim Taek-jin, who joined Development PD Kim Namjoon and Business Director So In-seop.
The broadcast announced the addition of a 'Normal' difficulty level for the Sanctuary of the Holy Grail in Muspel. The developers explained that the original content was designed for players seeking high-difficulty challenges, which limited accessibility. The new Normal mode will feature a clear distinction in rewards compared to the Hard mode, effectively splitting the content into a growth-oriented Normal mode and a challenge-and-reward-oriented Hard mode.
Regarding the ongoing issue of account sharing (proxy play), the team stated that they are currently gathering evidence with the operations team and plan to establish internal regulations to sanction suspected users. They noted that the process is taking time due to legal considerations, but confirmed their policy to review past gameplay and reclaim any rewards already distributed through such means.
The team also held a Q&A session with attendees. They promised to announce major updates or events at least one week in advance to allow players to plan accordingly. Regarding class balance, they are considering both incremental adjustments and major overhauls, and stated they would look into the issue of certain class combinations becoming overly dominant.
