ONE Store has introduced a dedicated section for AI-generated games. At launch, the platform offers 20 titles that users can play instantly within the ONE Store app without needing separate installations.

On the 7th, ONE Store, an app market for mobile content including games and apps, announced the official launch of 'AI Games,' a dedicated section for AI-created titles. This is the first time an app market has established a specialized corner for AI-generated games, which features a curated selection of titles created by creators using AI tools.

At launch, AI Games features 20 titles, including 'Ragnarok Breaker' and 'Heros Unite.' Users can play these games instantly within the ONE Store app without the need for individual downloads.

The section was developed in collaboration with Verse8, an AI game creation platform. On Verse8, users do not need to write code; instead, they describe the game they want to create in natural language, and the AI handles the planning, graphics, and gameplay rules. ONE Store refers to this as 'Vibe Coding.

This approach allows individuals to create games even without a professional team for planning, art, or development. The platform supports various genres, including idle RPGs, visual novels, and 3D shooters.

Through AI Games, ONE Store plans to integrate AI-based titles into its existing distribution and payment ecosystem. The initiative aims to provide individual creators with a channel to reach a wide audience while offering users seamless access to a variety of AI games without installation hurdles.

NEXUS, the parent company of ONE Store, previously outlined a vision to evolve ONE Store into a platform where anyone can create and distribute games using AI. AI Games is the first practical application of this vision.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of NEXUS, stated, "AI is fundamentally changing how games are developed, and it will enable the creation of hundreds of thousands, even millions, of high-quality games every year. As of today, ONE Store has become the world's first AI game distribution platform, and it will grow alongside the advancement of LLM models and the evolution of creators."

ONE Store aims to create an environment where even individual creators without prior game development experience can showcase and monetize their AI-created games. The company plans to operate AI Games as a permanent hub for discovering and distributing creator-made games, while gradually expanding its game lineup and support programs for creators.

A promotional event to celebrate the launch of AI Games will begin on the 11st. Users will receive a 15% discount coupon each time they launch a different game within the AI Games section, with a maximum of 10 coupons available per user.

Verse8 is an AI game creation platform that allows users to build and distribute games using prompts. Since signing a partnership with NEXUS last year, the two companies have been collaborating in the AI game development sector. Investors in Verse8 include NEXUS, NEXPACE, NEOWIZ, Netmarble MARBLEX, and the Story Foundation.
