Two new Wind-attribute weapons for Sung Jinwoo have been released: 'Gale-Force Moon,' specialized in attribute application, and 'Soma & Asura,' specialized in dealing burst damage while in an Overload state. These weapons are considered to have significantly higher firepower than the existing Dark-attribute combo of Key of the Void and Winchester Lock, which relied on an attribute-infusion starter weapon paired with a damage-dealing weapon.
Gale-Force Moon is a starter weapon capable of attribute infusion. Its basic attacks, core attacks, and weapon skills all possess attribute-infusion capabilities. Furthermore, using a Wind-attribute weapon skill while Gale-Force Moon is equipped stacks the 'Spirit's Wrath' effect, which increases Wind-attribute damage and weapon skill damage.
At 1-star evolution, equipping only Wind-attribute weapons activates Spirit's Blessing, which boosts Overload damage and attribute-infusion effects. Additionally, using Wind-attribute weapon skills builds 'Primal Pulse' stacks, which increase Wind-attribute Overload damage and weapon skill damage. These values are quite high; at maximum stacks, Overload damage increases by a total of 140%, providing a foundation for massive firepower.
At 3-star evolution, the Spirit's Wrath effect is enhanced. Upon reaching 6 stacks, it upgrades to 'Spirit's Judgment,' which increases Wind-attribute damage, weapon skill damage, and Defense penetration. It also grants the 'Breath of Cyan' effect, reducing MP consumption by 20% and restoring 50 MP whenever a Wind-attribute weapon skill is used. At 5-star evolution, Spirit's Wrath, Judgment, and Primal Pulse are further strengthened.
A look at Gale-Force Moon reveals that it relies heavily on 'on-weapon-skill-use' triggers and a stacking structure. This means it reaches its peak potential only when paired with a weapon that allows for frequent weapon skill usage—a condition perfectly met by the new Soma & Asura. (The Demon King's Dagger can only be cast twice, and while Stormbringer has many hits in its whirlwind, the skill itself is only used once.)

Soma & Asura is a weapon designed to unleash explosive damage by utilizing the Overload triggered by Gale-Force Moon along with various buffs. When Sung Jinwoo or an ally triggers a Wind-attribute Overload while Soma & Asura is equipped, 'Twin Tempest' stacks are generated. You can use weapon skills consecutively for as many times as you have stacks, with a maximum of 3 stacks in the base state.
At 1-star evolution, each weapon skill hit accumulates a debuff that increases the Wind-attribute damage the enemy receives. It also adds the 'Hurricane Fever' effect, which activates a core attack every time Sung Jinwoo uses a weapon skill three times. During this state, the core attack is treated as a Common Skill and deals 200% additional damage.
At 3-star evolution, the base stack limit increases to 6. Additionally, as Hurricane Fever stacks through weapon skill usage, the speed and range of weapon skills gradually increase, and the core attack's additional damage rises from 200% to 500%.
The 5-star evolution effect is even more critical than the others. Once the Wind-attribute damage-taken debuff mentioned at 1-star evolution reaches its maximum (50 stacks), the enemy enters the 'Eight-Direction Wind' state, increasing the Wind-attribute Crit chance and damage taken by 10% and 20%, respectively. Furthermore, hitting an Overloaded enemy with Soma & Asura's core attack grants 6 additional Twin Tempest stacks..
Consequently, you can use 4 weapon skills at base to 2-star evolution, 7 skills at 3-4 stars, and a total of 14 skills at 5 stars (7 weapon skills - core attack - 7 weapon skills).

As the description suggests, Soma & Asura and Gale-Force Moon are designed to synergize with each other. Gale-Force Moon easily triggers the skill-use requirements for Soma & Asura, while Soma & Asura benefits from Gale-Force Moon's ability to offset the high MP consumption caused by rapid skill firing.
While both weapons can be used individually, their efficiency in actual combat drops significantly without this synergy. Gale-Force Moon makes attribute infusion easier in environments where Overload is difficult, but it struggles to build buff stacks; conversely, without Gale-Force Moon, Soma & Asura suffers from slow attribute infusion and extreme MP consumption, forcing Sung Jinwoo to rely heavily on basic attacks. Since they were designed to be used together, it is best to pull for both.
If you cannot evolve both to 5 stars, my personal priority is: #1 Base copies of both, #2 Gale-Force Moon 1-star, #3 Soma & Asura 3-star, #4 Soma & Asura 5-star, #5 Gale-Force Moon 5-star. Due to the nature of Solo Leveling: Arise, it is difficult to pull exactly what you want, but if you obtain new weapon selection Chests via the Pass or Step-up events, perform your pulls first and then use the Chests to reach your desired evolution levels. Of course, if you intend to go for 10-star evolution, pull first until you are within range of the number of Chests you have, then open them at the end.
