The official subtitle for Part 3, which will conclude the 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' project, has been confirmed as 'Revelation.'
On the 6th (KST), SQUARE ENIX participated in the 2026 Summer Game Fest to reveal the subtitle for the third installment and debut a 2-minute and 23-second trailer.
The trailer shows Cloud and his party traveling by airship following the events of Part 2, Rebirth; Cloud skydiving with his Buster Sword on his back; combat scenes featuring Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind; and the advance of the Weapons. The final moments of the trailer pique curiosity by showing Cloud interacting with the flower he received from Aerith in Part 1.
Final Fantasy VII Part 3: Revelation covers the latter half of the original story and serves as the conclusion to the epic journey. Attention is focused on how the final showdown with the arch-nemesis Sephiroth will play out and how Aerith's fate will be resolved in the remake project.
The simultaneous release across all platforms has also drawn significant attention. While Parts 1 and 2 were initially timed exclusives for PlayStation due to contractual agreements, Part 3 is scheduled for a simultaneous launch on PS5, Xbox, PC, and Switch 2.
Final Fantasy VII Part 3: Revelation is slated for release in the spring of 2027.
