Incredible toy photography brings new Thresh and Zed figures to life

Spin Master, the master toy licensee for Riot Games, revealed its newest collection of League of Legends figures in a creative way. No, these images aren't digitally produced — they are real-life figurines photographed by toy photography artists  Mitchel Wu and Jax Navaro.

Like scenes from a movie, the duel depicted between Thresh and Zed is filled with details and ambient lighting.  The figures range from 4-6 inches and feature over 12 different points of articulation that make the dynamic battle scene above possible.

Chris Beardall, Spin Master’s President of Toys and Chief Commercial Officer shared the companies core goal when creating figures for the League of Legends community and Riot:

"We are honored to debut the first of our League of Legends collection, delivering to fans their favorite champions in action figure form and bringing the excitement of the renowned game to the toy aisle. Our assortment of core and collector figures deliver innovation, meticulous attention to detail and enhanced collectability for the massive international League of Legends fan base both on and offline – and this is just the beginning.”
