A combat gameplay preview video for "Wuthering Waves" Version 3.7's new Resonators, Hsin and Suoming, has been revealed ahead of release.

Hsin is the Sentinel of Mengzhou, a new region introduced in the Version 3.5 update. On August 28, she was revealed via the official YouTube channel as an Electro Rectifier Resonator. The other Resonator, Suoming, is an Electro Sword Resonator who sparked curiosity at the end of the Version 3.6 main story when she appeared behind Yinlin—who had just subdued the Takgyun Hall gang—and delivered a cryptic message.

In this video released prior to the update and preview broadcast, players can catch an early look at both characters' Resonance Skill and Resonance Liberation animations. Notably, unlike previous videos that showcased each Resonator's animations separately, this video transitions straight into team gameplay right after showing their individual 3D models. First, Suoming unleashes a barrage of attacks using an umbrella sword and chains to charge her Concerto Gauge, before swapping to Hsin to trigger their respective Outro and Intro Skills, maintaining the offensive rhythm.

The video then shows Hsin filling her Resonance Gauge with Basic Attacks and Resonance Skills, activating her Resonance Liberation, and swapping back to Suoming. Immediately after using her Liberation, Hsin glows with a golden light and sets up a golden field that periodically summons swords to strike enemies down. Because this field persists even after swapping to Suoming, Hsin appears poised to function as a sub-DPS rather than an on-field main DPS. Following Suoming's combo, the player swaps back to Hsin to unleash a flurry of area-of-effect attacks and a grand second Resonance Liberation animation, finishing off the Tacet Discords.

Hsin and Suoming are scheduled to arrive in Version 3.7, which is slated for release in September. Detailed information will be revealed later through the official Lounge and YouTube channel.
