thesource: “Running teams and working with players is the most volatile thing I’ve ever done in esports."
I remember watching a tournament and a commentator messes something up and Twitch chat just starts flaming him into oblivion, which Twitch chat is known to do, and he says, “I’d like to see you kids do better.”

DunkTrain on game design, BamBam, casting and more: "the removal of Cleanse from a lot of Supports was a mistake."
I think I’m the happiest when I’m playing a game that I really love and I’m streaming it and, it doesn’t have to be anything crazy, but even just people in chat saying stuff like, “Thanks for streaming,” “That was a really cool tip,” “I love the way you play that hero, I haven’t seen that talent build before, that was cool.”

InVerum: “There’s a lot more to the scene than just the pros, the majority of players aren’t.”
Now the fact that we’re admitting we’re a MOBA now is great. I think saying we’re a casual MOBA isn’t the right word. I don’t think it’s ever really been true per se if you’ve actually dove into playing at a competitive level. Shaking that stigma within the community has been a challenge.

Lead Hero Designer: "We want to get more Support heroes out there."
The big thing we want to be careful with reworks is there’s a lot of people already playing that hero so we don’t want to wreck what’s fun about that hero or what people identify with. So it’s more thinking about that carefully and making the right changes. It’s not nearly as involved as making a new hero and it can also vary a lot from one hero to another on how much is actually needed.

Fenix, the legendary Dragoon, is confirmed as the newest Hero of the Storm.
Dragoons are shielded units that deal lots of damage in Starcraft, so perhaps Fenix's Heroes of the Storm debut will play similar to Rexxar as a ranged tank. The specialist category may also fit Fenix, as his fighting style is, to say the least, unconventional.
