KT, currently at their peak, defeated Hanwha Life to finish their first week in the Legend Group with an undefeated record.

kt Rolster continued their winning streak on the 2nd, defeating Hanwha Life 2-1 in the 3rd round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) held at LoL PARK in Jonggak.

kt Rolster gained an early advantage in the mid-jungle matchup by taking down Kanavi's Jarvan twice. Later, when Perfect's Rumble was in danger in the top lane, KT successfully countered Zeka's aggressive dive to secure a kill, and they also picked off Delight's Milio during a 3v3 skirmish in the bottom lane.

Kanavi's Jarvan was caught out and eliminated again after an ill-advised attempt to steal the Dragon, and Bdd's Cassiopeia recorded a double kill following a roam to the bottom lane. KT then secured a massive victory in the Voidgrub fight, effectively breaking the game's balance. While KT continued to pressure and dominate Hanwha Life, the gold gap did not widen as significantly as the kill score might have suggested.

Nevertheless, KT remained in a dominant position, securing the Dragon Soul and Baron. By the 33-minute mark, the kill score was an overwhelming 32-11, though the gold lead was only 3k. Bdd's Cassiopeia eventually sealed the deal with a super play, leading to the destruction of Hanwha Life's Nexus at 34 minutes.

In the second set, a major fight broke out near KT's Raptors just four minutes in, where Hanwha Life recorded three kills without losing a single player. Building on this, Hanwha Life led the laning phase and secured an additional kill on Cuzz's Pantheon after level 6, giving them a 5k-gold lead by the 14-minute mark.

As Hanwha Life kept up their offensive, they successfully repelled a mid-lane dive and took down Nocturne. Simultaneously, Fenrir's Corki solo-killed Gumayusi's Jhin in the bottom lane. Although Hanwha Life remained in a strong position, KT stayed within striking distance. Hanwha Life eventually leveraged Anivia in a narrow corridor to gain an advantage while securing Baron, ultimately defeating KT at 28 minutes to tie the series 1-1.

In the third set, Cuzz's Naafiri secured first blood by taking down Zeus' Varus. KT gained a significant lead after Naafiri picked up a triple kill during a fight near the Voidgrubs. However, Hanwha Life did not collapse easily, clawing their way back by securing minor advantages in skirmishes and claiming two Dragon stacks first.

Cuzz successfully stole the next Dragon, and the team utilized the Rift Herald to quickly push the mid-lane tier 1 tower and collect turret plating. After a brief lull, a rapid teamfight broke out at the Dragon pit; the teams traded kills 4-for-4, maintaining a tense stalemate. Eventually, KT managed to pick off Kanavi's Shyvana and successfully secured Baron.

KT broke through the bottom lane, destroyed the inhibitor, and pulled ahead significantly in gold. After taking Baron, KT won a decisive teamfight thanks to Yuna's massive damage output, marched straight to the Nexus, and secured the win, defeating Hanwha Life following their previous victory over T1.
