BlackJack Studio announced on the 16th that it has unveiled its self-developed and upcoming epic fantasy strategy RPG, 'Langrisser: Sea of Swords,' through its first concept PV and has officially opened global pre-registration.

'Langrisser: Sea of Swords' is the latest installment in the globally beloved 'Langrisser' series. While it inherits the series' signature strategic depth and atmosphere, it features a complete reimagining of the gameplay and story. The game aims to provide a fresh strategy RPG experience to a wider audience.

The newly released concept video showcases a fantasy world with a distinct atmosphere from previous entries, signaling a new direction for the franchise. The setting shifts to an unknown continent shrouded in mist, where a deeper, multi-layered narrative unfolds—one defined by the interests of nations and factions, power struggles, and the weight of the Player's choices in shaping the world's fate.

Players take on the role of the 'Nameless One,' who has lost their memories, and embark on a journey to recover them alongside a mysterious white-haired girl. As the sound of the ancient Holy sword rings out once more, a new story begins—one that transcends a simple battle between good and evil, focusing instead on themes of oblivion, choice, and resistance.

The combat system further evolves the authentic strategic nature of the 'Langrisser' series. Building on the classic SRPG appeal where terrain, unit types, and strategic positioning determine victory, the game offers deeper strategic play where every movement and choice influences not only the flow of battle but also the progression of the story.

The audiovisual quality is also noteworthy.
