With the July 9 (Thu) update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, the pickup for the new Nikke 'Marciana: Marine Study' (Swimsuit Marciana, 'Swim-Marciana') has begun. Swim-Marciana is a Burst III Attacker Nikke who uses an AR and deals Iron-code damage. As a limited summer Nikke, she will not be available in the standard recruitment pool once this pickup ends.

Swim-Marciana's greatest strength is her code. Iron-code is a category that historically lacks powerful damage dealers. While the ongoing pickup for the limited Pilgrim 'Cinderella: Crystal Wave' (Swimsuit Cinderella, 'Swim-Cinderella') has provided some relief, the absolute number of viable damage dealers remains low. Being a new damage dealer in this category makes her highly valuable simply by virtue of her code.

Her stats are also impressive. Excluding outliers like Swim-Cinderella and Red Hood, Nikkes like Chisato and Raven are currently considered Tier 1 Iron-code damage dealers; Swim-Marciana displays firepower that rivals them. Furthermore, she is a versatile damage dealer whose performance doesn't fluctuate based on the presence of enemy parts or cores, making her reliable in various situations.

Swim-Marciana was designed as a raid damage dealer for Iron-code weak enemies. However, if you are a new player lacking Nikkes for stage progression, she is definitely worth using.

Swim-Marciana's abilities trigger based on the number of remaining enemies, including an AOE skill. She can use this powerful AOE skill at the start of battle to quickly thin out enemy ranks. However, her AOE damage requires 'stacks' to activate, which become harder to maintain as battles drag on, making her less suitable for long-term engagements.

That said, she is only 'usable' in this context; she is not a stage-specialized Nikke like Red Hood or Snow White: Innocent Days.

#. Anis: Sparkling Desert - Crown - Cinderella: Crystal Wave - Swimsuit Marciana - Maid Mast

This is a team for stage progression. Since Swim-Cinderella is also useful in stages, you can build a solid damage-dealing core with these two currently featured Nikkes. If necessary, you can replace the 'Totem' slot (Maid Mast) with a Healer.

#. Mokdan (Personal Item) - Nayuta - Swimsuit Marciana - Chisato - Helm

This is a 3rd or 4th-string Iron-code raid team featuring Swim-Marciana. You can freely swap Chisato for other Iron-code damage dealers like Raven. Since this composition lacks burst generation, you should pay attention to the weapons used in the 'Totem' slots.
