Black Desert released an update on Wednesday, April 29. This update focuses primarily on PVP-related content, including class balance adjustments, the start of the 9th season of the Arena of Solare, and improvements to Node and Conquest Wars.
1. Class Improvements
- Succession Warrior: Added ability to disrupt enemy formations with area-of-effect (AoE) crowd control
- Awakening Ranger: Increased damage for certain skills and added knockback on successful hits to allow for situational assassination attempts
- Awakening Maehwa: Enhanced air attack combos, improved assassination potential, and added defensive effects
- Wizard/Witch: Changed 'Teleport: Sage' defensive effect from Invincible to Super Armor → Invincible → Super Armor
- Awakening Wizard: Reduced damage for combo skills, increased damage for long-cast skills, and reduced cooldown for 'Protected Area
- Awakening Ninja: Changed resource requirement for 'Shadow Slash'/'Flash Bondage' from WP → to Stamina
- Awakening Dark Knight: Refined concept to focus on crowd control for melee and high damage for ranged combat
- Succession Striker: Enhanced defensive capabilities, increased PVP damage, and changed 'Rising Blast'/'Flow: Mass Destruction' crowd control from Float → to Knockdown
- Awakening Mystic: Stamina no longer recovers while using certain skills; health recovery effects for 'Dragon's Rip'/'Sea Burial'/'Wave Orb' now trigger only on 'successful hits'
- Succession Lahn: Improved to allow players to risk Frontal Guard to attempt additional damage after finishing combo chains
- Succession Hashashin: Increased and decreased damage for certain skills
- Awakening Sage: Increased stamina consumption for certain skills
- Succession Woosa: Improved to allow area control via melee AoE crowd control/debuffs; buff effects increased
- Scholar: Reduced damage for aerial skills, increased damage for ground skills
- Deadeye: Increased stamina consumption for certain skills; increased HP cost and adjusted activation conditions for 'Wild Survivor
- Wukong: Added AoE crowd control and improved battlefield escape capabilities

2. Arena of Solare Improvements
- Changed score acquisition rules to vary by rank bracket
- Reduced score multiplier for placement match victories from 1.8x → to 1.5x
- Revised entry and maintenance conditions for Solare ranks (top 30 players among those with 2,401+ points)
- Adjusted win-streak bonus points and added loss-streak penalty points
- Changed inactivity penalty rules
- Changed desertion penalty rules (35 points for 2100 or below, 32 points for 2,101–2,400, 28 points for 2,401+)
- Revised victory/defeat rewards (increased Gold Bar and Seal of Solare acquisition)
- Improved Seal of Solare exchange reward list




3. Node War Improvements
- Changed territory division rule from 5+ participating guilds → to 6+ guilds
- If the last remaining node has 10+ minutes left, it now transforms into a 'Question Mark' fortress and the end time is adjusted
- Changed construction-style Node War duration from 1 hour → to 2 hours
- Increased rewards for Node War participation/victory

4. Conquest War Improvements
- Reduced maximum duration from 4 hours → to 2 hours
- Changed Conquest War rules per territory
- Changed participation requirement from any node capture → to one Tier 2–3 node capture
- Expanded annex installation area and adjusted number of Hwacha allowed
- Added UI to check gate durability for defenders
- Adjusted contribution point acquisition rules and scoring
- Added Conquest War contribution rewards (200 billion silver distributed based on rules)
- Added Family Buff benefits to Conquest War participation/victory rewards
- Adjusted balance for siege weapons and annexes
- Other Quality-of-Life Improvements
