The final day of the '2026 LoL KeSPA Cup' group stage was held online on the 27th. With only the last-place team from each group facing elimination, Dplus KIA (Group A) and BNK FEARX (Group B) finished at the bottom and failed to reach the finals. The remaining eight teams will move on to Finals Stage 1.

Gen.G Esports, fielding their main roster for the first time, secured two clean victories. In their first match against BNK FEARX's main roster, 'Kiin' Kim Gi-in made a massive impact on Ambessa, while in their second match against the kt Rolster academy squad, 'Canyon' Kim Geon-bu’s Skarner racked up 16 kills in just 24 minutes to end the game. By winning both matches, Gen.G recovered from their academy team's winless streak to finish 2-3 and successfully advance to the finals.

Hanwha Life Esports, who had recorded a 2-1 record with their academy roster, solidified their standing by bringing in their main roster. Despite an unexpected struggle against the Dplus KIA academy team, they secured two wins thanks to 'Gumayusi' Lee Min-hyeong’s performance on Xerath and Ziggs. T1’s main roster added a 1-1 record, and their academy team, returning from the LCK CL schedule, dominated the DN Supers main roster to finish 4-1. Between the two teams with identical records, T1 took first place in Group B due to a faster average win time.

Dplus KIA, who fielded only their academy roster throughout the tournament, could not overcome the gap against main rosters and finished their KeSPA Cup run with five straight losses. Group A leaders Nongshim RedForce finished 4-1 after a dramatic comeback victory against T1. Kiwoom DRX and DN Supers, who started the day at 2-2, both added a loss to finish with the same record as Gen.G. Based on average win time, Gen.G placed 2nd, DN Supers 3rd, and Kiwoom DRX 4th.

In the fierce mid-to-lower table battle in Group B, where BNK FEARX, kt Rolster, and Hanwha Life Esports were all tied at 2-2 after the second day, BNK FEARX suffered a bitter elimination. Hanwha Life Esports defeated the Dplus KIA academy team to reach 3 wins, while kt Rolster and BNK FEARX both lost to Gen.G, falling to 2-3. In the tie-breaker for the bottom spot, kt Rolster secured 4th place and a spot in the finals thanks to a faster average win time.

Meanwhile, Finals Stage 1 begins the very next day, on the 28th. Group 3rd-place teams DN Supers and Hanwha Life Esports will face off against 4th-place teams Kiwoom DRX and kt Rolster, respectively. The loser of the 4th-place match will be immediately eliminated, while the winner will face the loser of the 3rd-place match. The match between the 1st and 2nd-place teams is scheduled for August 3rd.
