Hanwha Life Esports reached match point first by winning Game 3.
Early in Game 3, the strengths of both teams were clearly divided. FlyQuest pulled ahead by securing consecutive duo kills in the bottom lane, while Hanwha Life Esports gained momentum by winning a series of skirmishes in the top side of the map. In particular, 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok's Vi repeatedly caught out 'Inspired's' Skarner with her ultimate skill, creating a significant jungle gap. 'Zeus' Choi Woo-je also managed a solo kill on Rumble against 'Dhokla's' Gwen.
Lyon showed resilience as Skarner's bottom lane dive secured two kills, but Vi's excursion to the top lane also proved effective. Hanwha Life Esports perfectly countered a four-man dive on Zeka (Kim Geon-woo)'s Yone, sweeping up kills in the process. Handing the first death to Berserker (Kim Min-seong)'s 4-kill Lucian was also a positive sign. Although Gumayusi's Kog'Maw was caught out alone during the chaos, it did not affect the overall situation.
Rumble and Vi, having secured a massive amount of kills and assists in bottom lane skirmishes, grew exponentially and generated kills wherever they went with their overwhelming firepower. However, around the 23-minute mark, Yone dove deep into enemy lines, got caught in a chain of crowd control, and was taken down. The ensuing teamfight was naturally won by Lyon. Empowered by the Baron Buff, Lyon pushed toward the mid lane, where a super play involving Lucian's ultimate skill to pick off Kog'Maw led to another decisive victory.
With these two victories, the flow of the game shifted entirely in Lyon's favor. Hanwha Life Esports' 5k+ gold lead had evaporated, and Lyon was now ahead by over 3k. Lyon pushed forward with brute force. After whittling down the opponent's health with Lucian's ultimate, they capitalized on Hanwha Life Esports' disarray to charge at the nexus turrets. Lyon successfully focused fire on the nexus turrets and then the nexus itself to emerge as the winner of Game 3.
