Riot Games announced that the ninth week of the 2026 LCK regular season for 'League of Legends' will take place from the 27th to the 31st at LoL PARK in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This ninth week is expected to be a pivotal moment in the final standings battle of the regular season, which will determine the teams advancing to the LCK MSI qualifiers.

Hanwha Life Esports is just one win away from securing 1st place in the regular season. With a 14-2 record, a victory against Gen.G on the 27th will guarantee them the top spot regardless of the remaining match results. The 1st and 2nd place teams will advance directly to the 1st seed decider in the 3rd round of the LCK MSI representative qualifiers, held at the Wonju DB Promy Arena on June 12; the winner will secure an LCK 1st seed ticket to the MSI.
Gen.G, T1, and kt Rolster, currently tied at 12-4, are competing to secure 3rd place, the threshold for a direct ticket to Wonju. The match between kt Rolster and T1 on the 28th is considered a key fixture that will shape the top-tier standings. In this match, kt Rolster's 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan is nearing his 700th career game, while T1's 'Oner' Moon Hyeon-joon is aiming to reach his 500th career game.
The mid-table battle for 6th place—the cutoff for the LCK MSI representative qualifiers—also continues. Hanwha Life currently holds 6th place with a 6-10 record, while Kiwoom DRX and BNK FEARX are trailing with 5-11 records. The loser of the match between BNK FEARX and Kiwoom DRX on the 27th will be eliminated from the qualifiers.
Depending on the final regular season results, there is a possibility of tiebreaker matches if the top three teams remain tied. If the conditions are met, the tiebreakers for seeding will be held at the LoL PARK Chzzk Arena on June 2 at 5:00 PM. All matches of the 2026 LCK regular season are broadcast live via online platforms such as Chzzk and SOOP.
