MoreFun Studio announced the official domestic launch of its comic horror exploration RPG, 'Night Escape: 49 Days,' on May 20. The game is available for download via Google Play, the Apple App Store, ONE store, and the Samsung Galaxy Store.
'Night Escape: 49 Days' is a new title built on the concept of a 'terrifyingly lighthearted' comic horror exploration RPG. Players take on the role of a 'Guide' in a supernatural version of Seoul at night, attempting to break free from a 49-day time loop. The game features a unique reinterpretation of familiar local settings and urban legends—such as the 'Hell Train' and the Oksu Station ghost story—infused with a comic horror aesthetic.
To celebrate the Korean launch, comedian and TV personality Heo Kyung-hwan has been named the official brand ambassador. In the campaign video, Heo uses his signature comedic flair to face off against ghosts, appearing as a character trapped in the game's first chapter to intuitively showcase core gameplay elements like combat, skill combinations, and escape mechanics.
The game is designed for accessibility, featuring a one-handed control interface and short, roughly two-minute sessions. Players can experience the addictive nature of a Roguelike by combining over 490 types of artifacts and skills to battle malevolent spirits. The game also includes cooperative content such as 2-player PvE, duo PvP, and voice chat, as well as a 'Shelter' system that allows players to gather resources through idle gameplay.
To mark the official launch, MoreFun Studio is offering various rewards, including new user growth support events, a '4949 Draw,' Korea-exclusive skins, and a raffle for physical gold prizes. Additionally, during the first week of launch, popular streamers such as Sunba (May 20), PQQ (May 21), Myboo and SuyeonSuyeon (May 22), and Ha Chang-bong (May 24) will host live broadcasts to engage with the community in real-time.
Further information and event updates can be found on the official 'Night Escape: 49 Days' Naver Lounge and YouTube channel.
