In the second round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season held at LoL Park in Jongno on the 14th, Gen.G Esports secured a 2-0 sweep against BNK FearX, extending their winning streak to seven games. Looking as though they have fully returned to form, Gen.G dominated BNK FearX from start to finish with superior macro play and team-fighting prowess.

BNK FearX started Game 1 on a high note, drawing first blood by taking down 'Ruler' Park Jae-hyuk's Lucian through a persistent bottom-lane dive by 'Raptor' Jeon Eo-jin's Vi. However, Gen.G responded calmly. They minimized their losses by rotating their bottom duo to the mid lane to reset the lanes. Shortly after, they seized control of the game by making precise decisions and rotating faster than their opponents to secure a decisive victory in the Rift Herald team fight.

Gen.G widened the gap further by repeatedly picking off 'Clear' Song Hyeon-min's Renekton and 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang's Akali. With Akali out of the picture, they secured Baron and even caught the opposing Vi, who attempted a steal. With a Baron power play exceeding 5k gold, Gen.G regrouped and pushed into the top lane. In the final team fight, 'Chovy' Jeong Ji-hoon's Cassiopeia achieved a pentakill, sealing the win for Gen.G in Game 1.

In Game 2, 'Kingen's Vayne kicked things off in style with a solo kill. The play was even more valuable as it followed a successful dodge of 'Raptor' Nocturne's ultimate. BNK FearX showed resilience, trading kills in bottom-lane skirmishes and Rift Herald fights, but Gen.G maintained their lead by consistently coming out ahead in every engagement. Securing three consecutive dragons without reply also proved to be a major advantage.

Around the 26-minute mark, Gen.G aced BNK FearX in the Infernal Soul team fight, losing only 'Chovy's Ryze, and secured Baron to cement their victory. The gold lead ballooned to nearly 6k. BNK FearX tried to stall Gen.G's split-pushing by pressuring the mid lane, but the strength of Gen.G's main force was simply too much. A fight broke out before BNK FearX could set up a proper defense, and Gen.G secured a crushing victory to put an end to the series.
