On Jan. 25, Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black announced through his Youtube channel that he is retiring from professional League of Legends. He will be “closing the page” of his 10+ year career.

Aphromoo was there at the beginning of the LCS when it was first established in 2013. As the support of Counter Logic Gaming, he collected two LCS championships and had a runner-up finish at the MSI. He later moved on to play for 100 Thieves, Dignitas, and FlyQuest. Last year, aphromoo became the player to play the most LCS games, with 597 games played in the LCS.
