Gamepia will begin pre-orders for the physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the co-op adventure game It Takes Two on September 30. The official release date in Korea is October 15, and the game supports Korean subtitles.
Presented by Gamepia in collaboration with Electronic Arts, the title was developed by Hazelight Studios and Turn Me Up Games. It Takes Two is a two-player co-op adventure game that has won more than 90 awards worldwide, including 2021 Game of the Year (GOTY).
Players take on the roles of Cody and May, a couple on the brink of separation who are magically transformed into dolls, as they embark on a journey to regain their human bodies. Players can experience the story of the two characters as they tackle challenges spanning various genres together with new character abilities granted in each level.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version features high-resolution graphics, improved frame rates, and enhanced visual effects. It supports local co-op and split-screen online co-op, and friends who do not own the game can join using the 'Friend's Pass' when playing with someone who owns the full game.
Online play with users on other platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S, is also supported. However, for Nintendo Switch 2 players to play alongside original Nintendo Switch players, they must downgrade to the Nintendo Switch version.
The pre-order period runs from September 30 to October 14. The game is rated for ages 12 and up and includes a game card (keycard). Voice audio is provided in English, Japanese, French, and Spanish, while subtitles are supported in Korean and 10 other languages.
