5J6B Works will release a free Steam demo for the psychological mystery visual novel 'Anti-Anti' at 10:00 PM on October 1, followed by its official launch on October 27.
The release platforms are Steam and STOVE, supporting Korean, English, and Japanese. Its Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign raised a total of 10.68 million won, reaching 213% of its goal with 164 backers participating.
'Anti-Anti' is the debut title created by a developer who worked as a webtoon artist for over five years before self-teaching game development for about two years. Except for the OST composition, a single developer handled most of the work, including scenario writing, planning, programming, characters, CGs, backgrounds, UI, direction, Spine2D animation, and video production.
The game features a scenario of approximately 300,000 characters, around 229 CGs, and 57 backgrounds. It also includes 18 Spine2D animated characters and 13 extra characters, while the official trailer animation—about 1 minute and 30 seconds long—was handcrafted frame-by-frame directly by the developer.
Generative AI was not used in creating creative content such as the scenario, planning, art, and animation. AI was utilized solely to assist with coding and translation during development.
'Anti-Anti' will launch on Steam and STOVE on October 27, and will also be featured at the indie game festival Beaver Rocks 2026, held at SETEC from December 18 to 20. Further details can be found on its Steam page.
