NC's MMORPG 'AION 2', which launched global Early Access on September 30, recorded a peak concurrent player count of 170,000 on Steam.

The global service for AION 2 is available on PC platforms Steam and PURPLE. Server regions are divided into four areas — North America, South America, Europe, and Japan in Asia — supporting eight languages including English, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish.
According to SteamDB figures, 'AION 2' reached a peak concurrent player count of 171,530 on Steam. As of October 1, over 100,000 players were still playing the game via Steam. This figure accounts only for Steam users and does not include players on NC's proprietary platform, PURPLE, where the service is also live.
AION 2 also climbed to the top of the Steam sales rankings alongside the start of global Early Access. On September 30, it reached #1 on Steam's global 'Top Sellers' chart and ranked #1 in sales across 12 countries, including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, and Brazil. Prior to launch, Steam wishlist registrations surpassed 1.3 million.
Global Early Access is currently available to players who purchased a 'Founder’s Pack.' Founder's Pack buyers can play the game ahead of its official launch, and NC plans to launch AION 2's official global service on October 5.
