SHIFT UP has released the music video for 'Wanna be in LOVE,' an original new song from 'Stellar Blade: Blood Rain,' on YouTube. The track serves as the character theme song for the new protagonist, 'Eve.'
On the 31st, SHIFT UP unveiled the music video for the original song 'Wanna be in LOVE' from 'Stellar Blade: Blood Rain' via its official YouTube channel.
This video is notable as it marks the first time EVE has appeared in musical content as a character. This suggests that SHIFT UP may be opening the door to using the new protagonist for a variety of promotional activities. The video shows EVE singing along to the lyrics and traversing the game's world, as previously seen in the trailer. Notably, it also features Korean cultural elements, such as EVE eating Buldak Ramen and purchasing a 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' keychain.
Meanwhile, many viewers in the YouTube comments and online communities have pointed out signs of AI generation in the video. The YouTube content label also indicates that it was created using AI. Given that SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung-tae has frequently expressed positive views on the use of AI, it appears the company utilized the technology for this official content. However, SHIFT UP has not provided a specific explanation regarding the production process for this video.
'Stellar Blade: Blood Rain' is the sequel to the 2024 title 'Stellar Blade.' Its official title and trailer were first unveiled at Summer Game Fest 2026 in Los Angeles this past June. Set after the events of the original game in a cyberpunk-inspired city, the sequel features a new protagonist named EVE, who showcases melee-focused combat. CEO Kim Hyung-tae is serving as the general director, and SHIFT UP plans to self-publish the title.
'Stellar Blade: Blood Rain' is reportedly in the early stages of development. As this is the first video content released since the initial trailer—aside from the soundtrack—it remains to be seen whether this music video will lead to further content reveals and how the discourse surrounding the use of AI will evolve.
