Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has surpassed 2 million copies sold on its first day of release.
Ubisoft announced via its official X (formerly Twitter) account that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced recorded 2 million units in global sales on its launch day, July 9. As of the 13rd, the game reached a peak of 104756 concurrent players on Steam, marking the highest concurrent player count for any title in the Assassin's Creed Series on the platform.
To celebrate surpassing 2 million sales, a special Reward is being offered. Players who purchased the game can receive the 'Crimson Storm' sail to customize the Jackdaw, along with 1500 Animus Keys that can be used to purchase special Items. The rewards can be claimed by entering a code in a Ubisoft Connect account.
Martin Schelling, Brand Director for Assassin's Creed at Ubisoft, shared his thoughts: "Bringing back Black Flag—a title that has always held special meaning for both our community and us—through Resynced was a promise to honor the passion for Edward's adventures and the sense of freedom players experienced back then. Seeing so many players begin their journey from day one and receiving such positive feedback from critics is the greatest reward we could hope for."
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a title led by Ubisoft Singapore, serving as a remake of the original Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag released in 2013. Built from the ground up on the latest Anvil engine, it features enhanced graphics, Parrying-based combat, improved stealth and parkour mechanics, a deeper naval combat system, and new story content.
