Montreal-based indie game developer Blindspot Games announced that its 1v1 turn-based game, Infinity Hexadome Tactics, is scheduled for release on Steam in the fall of 2026.
A new trailer released alongside the announcement showcases the game's three-year development journey and the latest gameplay footage. The video includes developer commentary, allowing users to get an inside look at the current development direction and the evolution of the game leading up to its launch.
Infinity Hexadome Tactics is the first PC game based on the global sci-fi miniature board game IP, Infinity. Set in a futuristic, large-scale combat show, this 1v1 turn-based game challenges players to combine unique champions and engage in intense tactical battles.
From the early stages of development, Blindspot Games focused on creating a gameplay experience optimized for PC rather than simply porting the board game. By actively incorporating user feedback, the team has continuously refined the combat system and visual quality, including adjusting the size of the Hexadome arena to ensure faster, more immersive battles.
In particular, user feedback gathered through five closed beta tests, Steam Next Fest, and various playtests has been a key driver in enhancing the game's quality. Through this process, the development team has steadily advanced the combat experience and content structure, and is currently in the final stages of polishing the story-driven PvE campaign and tutorials ahead of the launch.
Special events are also being prepared for players awaiting the release. Starting in June, Blindspot Games will launch a tournament program, opening the PVP mode to participants for free. Anyone can join the tournaments to compete, with opportunities for participants to win prize money.
In Infinity Hexadome Tactics, players select champions with diverse abilities and roles to build their own teams and engage in strategic combat on a hexagonal battlefield. With various victory conditions—such as defeating opponents, capturing points, achieving sponsor goals, and winning over the crowd—every match demands new strategic choices and tactical decisions. Currently in its final stages of development, Infinity Hexadome Tactics is set for an official release on Steam in the fall of 2026.
