Nongshim RedForce snapped a grueling 10-match losing streak on the 28th with a 2-1 victory over DN Supers in the second round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno. 'Scout' Lee Ye-chan anchored the team's mid-lane with Ryze and Taliyah, playing a pivotal role in the win and earning Player of the Match (POM) honors.

In his post-match POM interview, 'Scout' shared his thoughts on the win: "I'm relieved and happy that we won. During our losing streak, we just kept practicing as we always have, focusing on improving our individual form. We prepared for today just like any other day."

Nongshim RedForce dropped the first set, briefly becoming the scapegoat for DN Super's escape from a 30-set losing streak. 'Scout' explained, "We didn't have a massive feedback session after the first set. We just quickly addressed the recurring mistakes that we've been making."

Regarding the winning second and third sets, he said, "In the second set, we had a good early game, which allowed us to close it out in 24 minutes. As for picking Nocturne first in the third set, there weren't many suitable options for the first pick. We chose Nocturne because we wanted a composition that suited us."

He recently drew attention after being spotted using a Chinese game client on his personal screen. Since he had used the Korean client when he first returned to the LCK, many were curious about the change. He revealed, "In one match, a player asked for a pause. With my Chinese client, I can trigger a pause instantly by typing '/s'. I wanted to increase our win rate by even 0.1% by doing that."

Nongshim RedForce will now face Dplus KIA in their final match of Round 2. 'Scout' expressed his determination, saying, "If we continue to improve our individual skills and maintain our form, and approach the match in good condition, I think we have a high chance of winning. I'm so grateful to the fans who always support us. We'll prepare well for the next match and aim for another win."
