Dplus KIA secured a 2-1 victory over Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) in their 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match at LoL PARK on the 21st, gaining an edge in the mid-table standings.

Hanjin Brion and Dplus KIA traded kills in a tightly contested opening. While 'Lucid's' Jarvan secured the Rift Herald and Hanjin Brion held a slight lead in kills, DK maintained a narrow gold advantage.
Hanjin Brion initiated a fight as Nautilus targeted Sivir, but Sivir reacted well to escape. 'ShowMaker's' Viktor then took down Nautilus and Rumble, conceding only Jarvan. DK leveraged Sivir’s fast wave clear to pressure the mid lane. Although they destroyed the mid tier-1 tower, Brion countered by taking down K'Sante and Sivir before securing Baron.
Despite some counter-plays from DK, Hanjin Brion’s 'Teddy' continued to deliver stellar performances on Ezreal, winning teamfights and securing another Baron. DK later committed significant crowd control to catch Nautilus in the mid lane and gained vision of the dragon. They faced a crisis when they couldn't take down Ezreal during a teamfight, but managed to secure the dragon and retreat safely.
DK turned the tide in the final Baron teamfight. 'Kellin's' Bard froze three opponents with his ultimate, allowing DK to win the decisive teamfight without losing a single member. After a 41-minute marathon, they destroyed Hanjin Brion's Nexus.
In Game 2, Hanjin Brion drew first blood by catching 'Lucid's' Xin Zhao near the top lane, and 'Teddy's' Caitlyn took down 'Smash's' Ashe in the bottom lane, putting Hanjin Brion in a favorable position. Hanjin Brion continued to lead, securing the Rift Herald and dragons without major skirmishes.
DK, unwilling to concede the Rift Herald easily, gathered all members for a teamfight. Although DK secured the Herald, they gave up two kills, widening the gold gap. However, DK bounced back during the next dragon spawn, securing the objective and picking up three kills.
Hanjin Brion regained their composure, using macro play to snowball the game and cleanly secure the Dragon Soul. DK bought time by catching 'Roamer's' Cassiopeia in the top lane, but Hanjin Brion accelerated the pace again once Cassiopeia respawned, cleanly taking Baron.
'Kasting's' Jayce used Teleport to the bottom lane during a mid-lane standoff to push an inhibitor. Hanjin Brion then won a teamfight in the mid lane as 'Gideon's' Vi successfully targeted Kog'Maw, allowing them to take Game 2 and even the series 1-1.
In the final Game 3, Hanjin Brion's 'Gideon' on Naafiri teamed up with 'Kasting's' Renekton to take down 'Siwoo's' Illaoi for first blood. DK responded by steadily stacking two dragons, and in a river skirmish, 'Lucid's' Wukong used his clone to outplay the opposition, taking down Annie and Naafiri.
Hanjin Brion committed multiple players to the top lane to force a skirmish, resulting in an even trade. While Hanjin Brion focused on taking down Illaoi, DK applied heavy pressure to the mid lane to gain an advantage. After again committing numbers to the bottom lane to quickly take down Illaoi, DK made a decisive call to rush and secure Baron.
In the final 5v5 teamfight in the bottom lane, DK quickly took down Taliyah. Despite Jhin being locked down by Illaoi, DK won the teamfight and comfortably closed out the game, defeating Hanjin Brion 2-1.
