Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 14th that it has updated its popular online game 'MapleStory' with 'Maple Warrior Jin,' a new event boss designed by BTS member Jin.

This update is part of the ongoing collaboration with BTS' Jin that began in March. 'Maple Warrior Jin' can be challenged once a week by a party of up to three players until June 17. As a boss, Jin attacks using skills from the Warrior, Magician, Archer, and Thief classes from before the 'MapleStory' Big Bang update. Players can defeat him by collecting 'Maple Leaves' on the battlefield to boost the party's final damage. Successfully defeating the boss rewards players with new cosmetic items designed by Jin, such as the 'Illusion Ring: Giant Head,' 'Me Behind Me,' and 'Super-sized Sword,' as well as growth items like 'Sol Erda' and 'Sol Erda Fragments.

Ahead of the 'Overdrive' summer showcase on June 13, a pre-attendance event titled 'Summer Countdown' is also underway. Players who complete a total of 15 check-ins by June 17 will receive rewards such as the 'Growth Potion Selector' and the 'Character Selection Screen Theme Coupon - Seokchon Lake at Night,' with 'Summer Power-up' buffs applied in stages based on cumulative attendance. Completing daily bonus missions after 15 check-ins grants 'Echo of Nightmare +,' which provides a large amount of experience points. From June 18 to July 1, players can earn up to 10 additional 'Sol Erda' and 300 'Sol Erda Fragment Coupons' based on their cumulative attendance.

Various mini-games and content are also available. 'Superpower Yut Nori,' which allows players to use special abilities while playing the traditional board game, runs until May 27, offering rewards like the 'Maple Attack Yut Nori Chair' and 'Riding with My Friend Yeti' based on cumulative participation.

In addition, the fourth season of 'World Best Punch King' will run until May 27, awarding commemorative medals to the top 10 players of each class, and a commemorative effect and furniture to the first-place winners. Furthermore, the platform-jumping 'Tower of Dimensions' and 'Reverse Tower of Dimensions' will be available until June 17. Other updates include the new 'Path of Challenge' jump map set in the Grandis region, as well as an auto-advance feature for story dialogue to improve user convenience.
