5 Fastest ways to level up in Marvel Rivals

Leveling up in Marvel Rivals is the goal of many new players looking to unlock the game's ranked mode. While bot and regular matches are plenty of fun, the competitive side of Marvel Rivals starts showing its face in the ranked mode.

In addition to the ranked mode, most players also look to level up and maximize their battle passes. While the options can be more limited in this regard, you can unlock all the rewards in your battle pass by optimizing your playtime.

5. Complete Weekly and Daily Challenges

Doing all of your dailies and weekly challenges is the best way to get XP in Marvel Rivals. It's the most effective way to unlock battle pass rewards and also increase your rank in the process.

Most challenges in Marvel Rivals can be completed in one or two hours, meaning you can have a constant stream of XP by dedicating a tiny portion of your day. If you're looking to do as many challenges as possible, I'd recommend the Practice vs. AI mode, where you can easily fulfill the requirements of Marvel Rivals challenges.

4. Perform Well in Matches

Averaging a decent score by scoring high numbers of takedowns is the key to farming more XP from each match in Marvel Rivals.

If you're looking to unlock the game's ranked mode as quickly as possible, performing well in matches leading up to level 10 can help you get there noticeably faster. While you're at it, you should also try to become MVP in each game for the bonus XP.

I'd personally recommend choosing characters who can easily pick off enemies and score assists, so you can easily grind toward that MVP title.

3. Play Conquest

Conquest in Marvel Rivals is one of the most active game modes of the game. You can rack up plenty of scores in Conquest matches, and the key is selecting heroes with self-sustain. Ideally, you'd love to stick around the map longer to continue taking down enemies without any interruptions.

Going ranged is often the key here, so you can keep your distance and pick off enemy players as they come from safe distances.

2. Play Quick Matches

The name may give it away from the start, as quick matches are often the fastest in Marvel Rivals. When you queue up for a match, you'll get into lobbies with other players looking to score as many takedowns as possible. This makes the mode more active and a better way to farm experience.

As the name suggests, quick matches are extremely fast, meaning you can squeeze more of them into your gaming sessions. More matches equal more XP, and you can also use the opportunity to train your core gameplay mechanics.

1. Play Conquest Mode

Conquest Mode matches in Marvel Rivals can be even faster than quick matches. Conquest games often take around three minutes to complete, and you can secure close to 500 XP after each match.

Claiming MVP, SVP, or Ace titles is extremely valuable in Conquest Mode since they can easily double the total XP amount you get from the games. Conquest matches are also excellent for racking up Proficiency in Marvel Rivals, but the total amount you can get will be limited.

The Proficiency limit for Conquest matches was introduced with an April 2025 patch. Such content updates can also prompt players with error codes, such as 211, which are relatively easy to fix.
