Bang shared his predictictions for the LCS finals between Team Liquid and TSM.
The grand finals of the 2019 LCS Spring Split will be held this weekend in St. Louis. Over the last three months, the teams of LCS battled to be crowned, and the last two teams left became Team Liquid and TSM.
As much as the finals is drawing more interest from the fans, 100 Thieves bot laner Bae “Bang” Jun-sik shared his predictions on the results of the finals. “I think TSM will win 3-1 or 3-0” he said. “TSM is somewhat similar to SKT, a traditionally strong team. It feels that TSM has a different mindset while Team Liquid kind of feels like… Manchester City. I don’t like Manchester City, although I do like CoreJJ.”
Team Liquid is aiming for their 3rd consecutive championship in the LCS. If they succeed to do so, they will become the second team to accomplish the three-peat. With the new players, Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen and Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in standing strong in their positions, they are more determined than ever to reach that goal.
On the other hand, TSM had an amazing comeback in the second half of the split. Early in the season, they were down 2-4, but after that point, they only lost once to Cloud9, which they defeated in the semifinals in an amazing reverse sweep. As the only team to three-peat the LCS, they will contest to remain the only team to do so.
