Netmarble has rolled out a major update for its collectible RPG Tower of God: New World in celebration of the title’s second anniversary. The patch, effective July 17, adds two high-tier teammates and unlocks a slate of time-limited events offering generous in-game rewards.

Players can now recruit SSR+ FUG Executive Ha Yura and XSR+ Princess of Zahard Garam. Ha Yura, a purple-element support Light Bearer, joins FUG to settle a family score and brings ally-boosting and survival-enhancing capabilities to team compositions. Garam appears in her IF persona, reflecting her tenure as a royal family ranker, serving as a blue-element support Fisherman focused on crowd control and utility.

To mark the second anniversary, Netmarble launched the Nonstop SSR+ Limit Break Summon event on July 16, running through August 13. Participants can draw for SSR+ teammates using tickets earned via Grand Festival challenges. Concurrently, the “That Summer Vacation” story event runs until July 30, guiding players through a seasonal side narrative while awarding Revolution resources and other valuable items.

Additional anniversary gifts are available through August 13 and include a commemorative background, Revolution Reset Ticket and a Traumerei family-head costume. Three more limited-time activities—the Lucky Draw Event, Wish Card Event and Special Boss Battle—are scheduled until July 30, offering further chances to secure exclusive gear and username-enhancing items.

Tower of God: New World, based on the hit WEBTOON series that has amassed over six billion views worldwide, features more than 100 characters rendered in 3D animation. The game combines rapid-fire battle mechanics with a slot-based power-up system, enabling players to strengthen specific character slots instead of individual units. It is available on Google Play and the App Store, with a PC version accessible via Google Play Games Beta.
