To celebrate the 4th anniversary of Goddess of Victory: Nikke, 'Marian: Queen' has been added to the roster. Marian is a Fire Code Burst 3 Attacker Pilgrim who wields a Machine Gun (MG). Unleashing powerful firepower through periodically launched spears and a barrage of additional attacks during her Burst, she excels against both crowd targets and single bosses.

Her biggest appeal is undoubtedly her performance. Simply put, she is the strongest and best DPS released to date. Her ease of play is another huge advantage—she performs exceptionally well even on Auto Combat. From new and returning players looking to clear campaign stages to veteran commanders strengthening their main DPS lineup for boss battles, Marian is a versatile Nikke suitable for everyone.

Skill 1 periodically fires a Dark Matter Spear, launching 7 sequential attacks against random enemies. Enemies struck by the spear are inflicted with 'Weakness Exposure', which increases the damage they take. Activating her Burst Skill applies Weakness Exposure to all enemies on the battlefield.

Skill 2 triggers for 10 seconds after using her Burst Skill, dealing Core hit damage to all enemies in the Weakness Exposure state every 2 normal attacks. During this window, the spear attack interval is also reduced from 4 seconds to 2 seconds. If only a boss remains, spear strikes concentrate heavy damage on it; if multiple enemies are present, her additional attacks sweep them away simultaneously.

Her Burst Skill combines ammo refill, faster spin-up speed, and boosts to both Attack Power and Attack Damage. Paired with a devastating screen-wide strike against all enemies, her firepower skyrockets the moment her Burst activates. There is no complicated setup needed—simply trigger her Burst Skill and keep firing.

Marian is a DPS unit who delivers full value on Auto Combat without requiring complex controls. Since she wields a Machine Gun with high rate-of-fire normal attacks, simply maintaining continuous fire naturally triggers Skill 2's extra attacks. When playing manually, it is easier to hold down fire to sustain continuous shooting rather than using rapid tap-firing techniques.

In team compositions, she synergizes exceptionally well with buffer units that boost Attack Power and Core Damage. In particular, since Skill 2 deals Core hit damage, it benefits from Core Damage amplification effects independently of manual aim on normal attacks. Pair her with support Nikkes like Crown and Naga to maximize her damage output.

Rather than focusing on a single skill, it is recommended to invest evenly across all skills, progressing from 4-4-4 to 7-7-7 with 10-10-10 as the final goal. This is because her periodic spear attacks, additional attacks during Burst, and self-buffs from her Burst Skill all contribute significantly to her overall firepower.

For Overload attributes, prioritize Superior Code Damage and Attack Power (ATK), while aiming for 2 lines of Max Ammo Capacity. Expanding magazine capacity minimizes downtime caused by reloading. After securing these, consider Critical-related attributes.

This squad features Anis: Star and Crown in the front, with Marian: Queen and Hongryeon: Goddeath serving as the main DPS units. Naga provides healing and Core Damage buffs to support Marian's output. Operate Naga as a passive totem while using Crown for Burst 2.

This team composition is highly recommended for new players. For Burst 1, use a Nikke with Burst Cooldown Reduction such as Liter. For the remaining slots, combine the free event giveaway Rapunzel: Sanctuary with the two newly featured banner Nikkes. Fill the final flexible slot as needed with a healer or passive totem unit. It is an excellent comp capable of clearing campaign stages effortlessly.
