Relic Entertainment has announced Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch, a story-driven campaign downloadable content (DLC) pack for its World War II real-time strategy (RTS) game. It launches on PC on November 25th 2026.

According to a release, it is the first new single-player mission content since Company of Heroes 3 launched. Relic also released a teaser trailer alongside the news.

In RTS games, players build up forces and command units as the action plays out, with no turns. Company of Heroes leans on squad-level tactics: cover, flanking and holding ground matter as much as raw numbers.

Operation Torch is inspired by the Allied campaign in Axis-occupied North Africa. Players command an American force in its first major campaign against German troops, leading a green army through hard-won victories and costly defeats until it becomes a seasoned fighting force.

From the landings to Hill 609

The campaign follows the Allied landings in North Africa. Its arc runs from the opening invasion, through the defeat at Kasserine, to the final assault on Hill 609. Relic said the missions draw on real events and adapt them into a focused single-player campaign.

The story is told through three American soldiers. Their accounts cover the war from both the command tent and the front line. According to the release, their stories show the losses and lessons of a young army as it is ‘forged into the fighting force that will liberate Europe’.

15 missions and army upgrades

Operation Torch has 15 missions, each built around a different tactical scenario. They range from beach landings and stealth operations to defensive stands and large-scale assaults. Each one highlights different units and mechanics.

Progress carries between missions. Completing missions and optional objectives earns upgrades. Players then choose how their army develops. Army customization lets them build around the way they like to play.

Company of Heroes at 20

The DLC arrives during the 20th anniversary of Company of Heroes. It follows the recently released 3.0 Anniversary Update and comes alongside the upcoming Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition, which Relic said is part of a year of support and new content across the series.
